Beach Engagement Session Outfit Ideas

One of the questions I am frequently asked is, "What should I wear for my engagement session?"

So this summer, I partnered with Deanna of @everything.dee to curate a few beach/summer engagement session couples' outfit ideas for me to shoot and blog. Deanna is a NJ based blogger and instagram influencer for affordable petite women's fashions.

Thankfully Deanna and her husband Carl were up for the challenge of posing as an engaged couple and shooting a session with me at the Point Pleasant Boardwalk in NJ and show off Deanna's top picks for summer. Check out her light blue and white summer outfit palette below!

Deanna is one of my favorite influencers to follow because she has a good balance of value and affordability in her feed as well as a sincere appreciation for good photography. She is also the sweetest person to boot! She and Carl are a great couple, they make a supportive and loving team. You can tell they will be the type of couple to grow old together enjoying family and life to the fullest.

For summer, you can't go wrong with clean white, off-white, creams, beiges, and blues. Deanna's outfit and accessories can be found through her LikeToKnowIt link here. For menswear, crisp clean button down shirts or pima cotton polo shirts are a great pick. Make sure your shoes are nice and clean too!

Vamos a la playa!

I adore this subtle blue and white print fitted dress Dee picked for her second outfit! Paired with fresh white and jute wedge sandals, this look is the perfect summer staple. You can shop the look here. Carl's subtle seersucker textured button down shirt is the perfect beachy complement to Deanna's dress. Linen is another great fabric choice for summer outfits for both men and women alike and a pair of dock loafers or canvas sneakers can complete the look.
